Disney Parades

One of the things Alisha enjoyed the most at Disney World were the colorful parades. After we got past the must-do rides, we spent a good amount of time just looking at all of the creative design and construction that went into making the parks feel like another world.

We saw one parade during the day ("Festival of Fantasy") and another parade at night ("Main Street Electrical Parade"). Below are the pictures that Alisha took of the daytime parade (click on each one if you want to see a larger version).

The 3 fairy godmothers, who appeared to float and glide across the ground.

My guess was that they had a Segway hidden underneath their dress,

but they waved both hands around fluidly as they moved.

On the side of the pirate skull, there's a Neverland map that looked very much like Roscoe's Roost
